About

I’m Russ, and this is fplStore. A little about us.

I’ve been playing fantasy football since the 90s, back when transfers meant premium-rate phone calls. In my late 20s and early 30s, I won prizes in the UK, including SkySports and the Telegraph. I later joined a European fantasy startup in Malta where I spent several years creating content.

fplStore designs first appeared on Etsy in 2023. It began with Trainspotting's "Choose Life" monologue, which naturally became Transferspotting "Choose FPL". It's still my favourite, although there are a few more now.
