Which Premier League Manager Are You? FPL Edition
Share
Every FPL manager has a style. Some go with their gut, some live inside spreadsheets, and some haven't made a transfer since GW2. Whether recognised or not, there's a Premier League manager who would play FPL exactly the same way.
Do you recognise any of these from your mini-league?
Sir Alex Ferguson
Backs the captain. Trusts players through bad runs. Never panics, never takes a hit unless necessary. Built for a late mini-league charge, and wins it about half the time. Pure dominance.
Pep Guardiola
Transfer addict. Constant moves, regular points hits. Inflated team value, and a bench that rotates every week. Nobody understands how they afforded it all, but it usually works.
José Mourinho
Defence first. A 5-4-1 stacked with DEFCON defenders and mids. Parks the bus, takes zero risks. Ugly, effective and deeply unfashionable. Watch out for the meltdown in season two or three.
Arsène Wenger
Loves young, cheap, high-potential players. Hates burning transfers. Believes the next rising star will pay off. All about the long game, and sometimes right.
Jürgen Klopp
Attacking full-backs, high-intensity mids, chaos-driven attackers and pure emotion. Plays with heart. When a red arrow arrives, avoid the group chat.
Claudio Ranieri
Cheap differentials. Nobody sees it coming. The mini-league champion nobody expected, and the reminders never stop.
Ange Postecoglou
3-4-3 all season. Attack-only: three star strikers, big names in midfield, no defenders worth owning. Could get relegated from the mini-league. Crazy times.
Harry Redknapp
Deadline wheeler-dealer. At 17:55 on deadline day, still making moves. Always taking a chance on someone. Rarely planned, never boring.
Rafa Benítez
The spreadsheet manager. Rotation, fixture analysis, and a plan for every gameweek. Analytics FC. Tells anyone listening, asked or not.
Do they remind you of anyone?
Most FPL managers are a mix. Part Pep, part Mourinho, with Wenger's stubbornness on the bench. But there's always one Fergie.
